Bernie never thought she was a good vampire, especially as even the thought of drinking blood turns her stomach.
When she heads to a cooking class in the hope of fixing the issue, the last thing she expects is to meet another vampire who not only understands, but is willing to help her find a solution to her blood-drinking problems.
The moment he meets Bernie, Shane knows there's something special about her, and he's determined to make sure he helps her as much as he can, especially if that means he can capture her heart in the process.

Blood issues can be stifling
Are such a fun and cute story! I always wondered how someone who is squeamish about blood would do as a vampire… now we know! I love how Shane and Bernie meet and how their story progresses … they help each other out and in the long run both get a very happy ending! I did like that a ghoul was thrown in the mix with a problem similar to Bernie’s! Looking forward to the next episode of Obscure Academy world! Problem Solving Mission
Recently turned vampire Bernie has a problem. She can barely drink blood. She’s a vegetarian and a vampire. So taking a vegetarian cooking class may help, right? Only she didn’t expect Shane Adams to be so resourceful. I love how their romance is all about solving her problem. The support of her roommates and Shane show that any problem can have a solution. A definite feel good story.

Bernie and Shane
Poor Bernie after being attacked and turned into a vampire she discovers that she cannot stand the taste of blood. It makes her ill. She’s only told one friend who suggests a cooking class as a way to help. There she meets Shane student, chef, teacher of her class and vampire. He agrees to help her try and figure out the cause of her lack of tolerance. It’s a win win for them Bernie gets some help and Shane gets a case study for his thesis. Along the way it turns into so much more than that. Turns out signing up for that class just might’ve been the best thing Bernie could’ve done.
