A Partner at the Michigan Company, known for their renowned business deals, Lamar Peterson is in love with two women for various reasons. Not knowing how to make his choice, he proposes to both women. His mother on the other hand is against this but tries hard to help him out. These women, Jeanette and Elsie, happen to be very close friends who talk about their experiences with this man of their dreams (Lamar) in different ways.
