“Is that so?” He snarled, teeth jutting below his curled lip. “Well… let me tell you. They don’t want to be rescued.”

“I just found that out, Spiteful.”

“You seem to know my name.” The wolf circled around me. “And who are you?”

“My name is Observer,” I replied.
