You’re never too old to play in the mud is the foundation for this “hands-on, minds-on” materials science based book on Adobe.  Let your students discover how to use elements of dirt to create homes and works of art.  Background information, lab activities, integrated math, social studies, language arts, and art activities are included to enhance the learning experience.


This book was designed by three professional instructors who have tested this unit of making adobe with the modern world of material science in classrooms from elementary to high school.  It addresses the Next Generation Science Standards.
