THE BEST BOOK EVER
OMG this is now one of my favorite books!!! Nikki Woods humor mixed with romance was a perfect combination. I fell in love with every character! I was sad when it ended because I wanted to know about the baby and if she had adopted Teeka... His was a great book and it would make a great movie. The book is written as a script pretty much because of how well Nikki described the beauty of Jamaica and Everthing else in the book. I can picture this as being a romantic comedy starring Joy Bryant maybe? And tariji P henson as maybe Keela and GuGu mbatha-raw or Jordan Sparks. As Bianca ...and Jill Scott as Sharnesha.... Perfect movie casting complete :-)
Easier Said Than Done
Overall I enjoyed the book; however, I the author should have given more detail about the situation with Essence. Additionally, her agreeing to take Teeka without trying to locate the mother and talk to her or contact the child's relatives, after only knowing them for a week, seemed a little unrealistic.
