Eating the Lord

From beginning to end, the Bible speaks of eating the Lord. When God created man, He placed man in front of Himself as the tree of life, and rather than commanding man concerning praise or worship, He commanded man to eat. The Old Testament speaks further concerning the matter of eating in its presentation of the types of the Passover lamb, the offerings in the tabernacle, and the produce of the good land of Canaan. The New Testament also speaks very clearly concerning our eating, especially in its presentation of Christ as the portion of all the believers.
