Echoes of the Mind

Crashing a motorcycle is one of the most fearsome things a person can experience.  That’s the dark side.


On the other hand, riding a motorcycle offers a rare promise:  the chance to feel intensely, vibrantly alive.  To clutch, for a time, something raw and visceral and true.  Something that harkens to a distant past.


In this short story Jeff Hughes touches on the melding of those polar opposites.  He speaks to remembrance and longing, despair and hope, dreams and visions.
