I arrived at school with a plan: keep my head down, work hard, get out. When choices and rumors begin to pull at that plan, I have to decide what I’ll protect and what I’ll risk. I find a voice I didn’t know I had and a way to be seen without losing myself.

I traded the city for cold landscapes and a scholarship that feels both chance and exile. My work carries the weight I won’t say out loud, and distance makes the things I left behind louder than I expected. Art forces me to look at what I’ve been running from.

This is a story about how to hold on and how to let go, about learning to name the things that hurt, and about whether two people split by miles and mistakes can find a truer way back to each other.
