Ecosystem Explorers Club

When twelve-year-old Nima forms the Ecosystem Explorers Club with best friends Dario and Selah, they promise to investigate every habitat in their town. From paddling through the cattails of Marshmallow Meadow to measuring lichens on Rocky Ridge and snorkeling beneath Sunset Lake’s surface, the trio uncovers how wetlands filter water, forests cycle nutrients, and dunes tame the wind. Along the way, they engineer a floating trash collector to free a beaver dam of plastic waste and build rooftop pollinator gardens. Through hands-on science challenges and campfire debates, the club learns that curiosity, compassion, and simple inventions can heal our world—one ecosystem at a time.
