As the brand new supercarrier Pegasus is readied for its first flight, reports trickle in from the edge of the galaxy that threaten to shatter the fragile peace the Pegasus was

Edge of Infinity is the first novel in the Masters trilogy.
Solid trilogy that allows the reader to use their imagination
In a world awash with never ending serialized stories that stretch and contort story lines until they are no longer recognizable, Mr. Reimer's The Masters series is an enjoyable and refreshingly solid trilogy. It manages to include nearly every galactic and planetary apocalyptic theme without including magic, zombies or vampires - thank God! It is a page turner that gets just deep enough without diverging into way too deep dives of any particular setting, technology or character's angst. I was able to easily roll with the story without obvious question or disbelief. Definitely worth your time.
