This book takes you on a photographic journey through Italy. I loved seeing Florence, Pisa and of course Rome. The photos are very interesting yet playful. Thank's ED for taking me along.
It's was definitely not what I expected. Yes, there are some great photographs of Italy in here. But it was very disorienting to see beautiful photographs together with some other photos which I assume to be the author and her friends posing like they were on vacation. There were some shots that I seriously can't believe even made it to the book (or any "photography" book), for that matter... An overexposed shot of food, a photo were the subjects were completely in the shadow. And the videos were seconds of wobbly camera phone type- looking videos of a tour guide in the middle of her guided tour. I'm sorry to be so critical since there were 90% beautiful photographs but I was just really surprised with some of the photos that made it there and with the videos included. It's like I chanced upon a personal vacation album uploaded on facebook page of a stranger. Granted the price isn't much at $1.99, which is why I checked it out, but come on, there are some great free books in the iTunes bookstore.
