I enjoyed reading this book. The main character, Eleanor, is very well drawn and I liked the author’s style of writing. I did feel a bit let down by the last section of the book. I would have liked more of what was hinted at and partially revealed about Eleanor to have been explained in more depth. That said, however, I do recommend this book and its author.
Having had no idea what to expect, I really enjoyed this journey!! We can learn a lot from Eleanor’s story.
Took a bit to get into this book but once I did it was an incredible story!
Completely touched by the characters, cried and laughed out loud as I read this book. A read on a person being so socially handicapped and lonely. And people’s kindness helps her grow and overcome so many challenges I take for granted. Well written definitely recommend!
A wonderfully delightful and sad novel. It’s beautifully written with a flawed and quirky young woman named Eleanor at its center. Her trials and tribulations, her joys and her horrors. Simply put….I loved Eleanor and I loved this book.
One of my favorite books. I read it twice. It was clever with fascinating characters, especially Eleanor. If you haven’t read this book, you must!
