Electricity & Magnetism

This eBook is intended as an introduction to electricity and magnetism for middle school students. Students will explore the history of electricity, the types of electricity, find out how batteries and circuits work, and compare magnetism to electricity. This eBook is intended to be used with the iTunes U course, The Relationship Between Electricity & Magnetism, where students follow labs that complement the ideas in this book. The labs are based on the science writing heuristic where students explore static electricity, current electricity, magnetism, and then find the relationship by building an electromagnet.
