Publisher Description

As the modern world becomes more advanced, it becomes more technologically dependent; thus more fragile.
Technology, however, is its ‘Achilles heel’ so to speak. As this technology becomes increasingly complex and refined, it becomes more vulnerable to an EMP attack. When an individual country relies on such frail, delicate electronic systems to run the economy, industry, and the military, it inevitably leaves itself open to its enemies. For whatever political reason or religious doctrine, an EMP attack on such a country would leave the whole infrastructure and capability of that society to run itself in ruins.
This book is a scenario of what could happen in a microsecond, any time, any place, anywhere!

Electro Magnetic Pulse

The author chose an engaging subject for this book. The threat of such an attack appears to be very real, and the degree of government preparedness seems somewhat obscure. The author truly did a service to us all by bringing this into the light.

However, I am not evaluating the subject matter so much as the book itself. First, the author should be aware that proofing the work is imperative. Running spell-check is not enough. Serving up misused words, run-on sentences and prose that is absent of apostrophes and proper punctuation show blatant disregard for the sensibilities of the reader. Another way to say this is that the manuscript ( this was not a "book") read like a C grade high school paper.

Secondly, the content brought nothing new to the reader's knowledge of the subject that wasn't covered by William Forstchen in his 2009 novel "One Second After".

Writing is hard and exacting work. My advice to the author is to do some of this and you might get somewhere.
