Rising from the ashes
Great read!
This was Amazing
This was much better the. I could of hoped. The characters while part of a supernatural community felt realistic, likeable and relatable in there flaws. Out main character is headstrong without being stupid. She determined to live her own life and though she makes mistakes I can respect that. This book so funny, well timed, and surprising. Worth a read.
Urban fantasy meets mystery
This is one of the best urban fantasy novels I’ve read in years. The first 2/3 read like a fast-paced mystery novel with a supernatural setting, and the last 1/3 really got much deeper into the political machinations of the various Otherside families as Arden tries to resolve everything in a way that gets her her freedom and safety (and doesn’t get her killed in the process). Can’t wait to dive into book 2!
