Balance is hard and sometimes deadly.
Tarian Xannon uses water, air, and fire to fight against injustice, to protect her family, and to do just about everything in between. But now the elements are out of control. Can she fight fire with fire?
When downtown Ft. Worth, Texas is leveled by bubbles of elemental power, Tarian Xannon and her team step in to put the situation right. But when one explodes right in front of her, Tarian is branded a terrorist.
Worse, more bubbles crop up all over the world, and she must race to find out who or what is creating them, and stop it, before the elements of magic destroy the world.
Elements of Magic is the fifth book in the House of Xannon elemental magic series. If you like urban fantasy featuring strong women using magic, skill, and guts to save the world one catastrophe at a time, you’ll love the House of Xannon.
Just when you think the worst has happened, the author ups the stakes and asks for more. It gets tiresome after the first few dozen times. Needs a new trick.
Nice visuals, lots of good characters and story, just wished the author had put a bit more into world building and less into conflict.
