Elements of Music with iPad

This resource has been designed to assist teachers in meeting Ontario Curriculum expectations in the Music strand of The Arts in Grades 7 & 8.

While this multi-touch book will not cover every expectation in the Music strand of The Arts curriculum, it may assist educators who have a limited background in music to address expectations in a rich, engaging way.  

Lesson One introduces students to The Elements of Music through a hands-on, guided activity.  Lesson Two allows students to work with this new knowledge to analyse a piece of music.  Lesson Three builds on these two lessons by asking students to create their own piece of music to accompany a video clip.
