The sixth book in the internationally bestselling Eagle Elite Series.
*Interconnected Stand Alone*
Twenty-Four hours before we were to be married--I offered to shoot her.
Ten hours before our wedding--I made a mockery of her dying wish.
Five hours before we were going to say our vows--I promised I'd never love her.
One hour before I said I do--I vowed I'd never shed a tear over her death.
But the minute we were pronounced man and wife--I knew.
I'd only use my gun to protect her.
I'd give my life for hers.
And I would, most definatly, lose myself, to a dying girl---a girl who by all accounts should have never been mine in the first place.
I always believed the mafia would be my end game--poisoning my heart, while it claimed my soul. I could have never imagined. It would be my redemption.
Or the beginning of something beautiful.
The beginning of her.
The end of us.
So beautiful with overwhelming emotions
I really wanted a saucy book to read on V-Day and i happened to come across this novel. It broke my heart in to a million pieces and into a billion more. Do not get me wrong this book is absolutely beautiful but it made me terribly sad and heartbroken. 😭
I laughed and cried all in the same sentence
Ahh, I first fell in love with Rachel’s books by falling in love with Nixon and Trace’s story. These books have every thing....brooding bad boys who love fiercely and fight for family even more fiercely. Even sexier girls who are sugar and spice and EVERYTHING nice. But this book absolutely broke my heart. The story of Sergio and Andi was beautiful and gut wrenching. I found myself crying and laughing all in the same breath. I loved it and will continue reading all the Eagle Elite series has to offer!
A must read- have tissues ready!
Just finished reading and my eyes are puffy and red and my shirt soaked from excess tears I couldnt catch quick enough!
I’ve read this series in the order suggested by the author and I swear her writing gets better and better with each book.
This one hit me straight to the core. One of my least favorite characters going into it, but Sergio came out a fan fav for sure. Wasn’t expecting this book to become my favorite thus far. I’m going back to read excerpts of it again. But first, nees to grab more tissues....
Bravo Rachel Van Dyken, Bravo!
