I enjoyed Emily - her character is spunky. This first story held my interest. Although there were some gross moments, like having Emily in a bag with her own poo and pee and vomit when she was kidnapped, there are no sex scenes inappropriate for kids. This author does not believe in God, and you can tell! In this book, it's not so bad- just a little bit of fun is made of God. The first book is worth reading. But, just stop there. The second book is very short, and really the only purpose is to show how Emily dies. The third book starts interesting, but after the first few chapters, stars getting boring. Like the entire purpose of the book is to explain how lame it is that people worship God. Christianity and Islam become a big joke!!! Also there are so many editing errors, I don't think the author bothered to go back and read the books or the author would have seen the mistakes and fixed them. 3 stars for the first book. 1 star for the second and third, and I'm not reading the forth- plus I'm deleting the books from my library.
