After brief two years of theoretical and practical training at Jabalpur, Shillong, Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi and with on job training at  Madras Telephone for one year and then posted for a regular installation job at Calcutta Telephone and Patna Telephone for two years before promotion to work as Divisional Engineer Telegraph at Sambalpur (Odisha) having jurisdiction from Rourkela to Koraput then transferred to DET Muzaffarpur with jurisdiction from Sivan having border with UP to Siliguri of West Bengal.
