Empowered: Ten Days to Be Filled with the Power to Go

People being filled with the Holy Spirit has changed the modern world. It
isn’t a new thing, because the Holy Spirit fills and empowers people in every
generation. Yet in these last days there is an outpouring of the Holy Spirit
transcending gender, age and ethnicity. I write this devotional because I
believe the Lord is empowering end-time workers to complete the unfinished
task—the task of getting the great message of Christ’s sacrificial death
and resurrection from the dead into all the world. A proper understanding
of the baptism in the Holy Spirit and its impact in the life of the believer
will help you in living this Christian life more effectively and with more joy.

So what is this devotional about?

For starters, Christianity wasn’t just meant to be a cognitive or traditional experience passed down from generation to generation. It was meant to be a spiritual interaction between God and man. That interaction should drive you to GO. Mission should follow Holy Spirit infilling. The baptism in the Holy Spirit is like getting hooked up to a Holy Spirit fire hydrant till your whole being is overflowing with the living God. This produces much fruit and an empowerment to complete the mission He has given us. In this ten-day devotional I want more than anything else for you to experience the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit flowing through your life like we see in the Book of Acts.
