Endzone

"Well, there goes the neighborhood!" Kelly said spotting the two young guys unloading the truck. They were shirtless and covered in sweat on this unusually warm October day. It was obvious to everyone in the neighborhood they were gay, and my wife made no attempt to hide her distain. 
If she only knew the secrets I'm keeping. I pray she never finds out about Homecoming weekend or the camping trip before that. 
The tall one spotted us as we drove by and gave me a sly smile. I quickly looked away, focusing on the road and ignoring the homophobic slur uttered by my wife. 
The man reminded me of Colin when he was younger. I miss him already. It will be a while before I see him again, but at least I still have my neighbor Tom to keep me occupied. We just have to be careful not to get caught.
