What starts as pretend, doesn't have to remain pretend
Mary Beth is in a bind. Her ten year high school reunion is two weeks away and her boyfriend just called it quits. Not only is she depressed at the rejection, she's facing certain humiliation at the hands of her old nemesis over a silly bet they made years ago. So, when her best friend suggests seeking help via an online dating service, she reluctantly agrees. However, she had no idea that an online service could introduce her to such an amazing man. If only he was for real . . .
Christian Fuller just wants to focus on his new business and prove to everyone that he's not a failure. However, when his sister sets him up for a date through an online service, he doesn't have the heart to leave her wondering what happened. However, when he shows up to tell her it's all a mistake, why are his emotions showing an interest in her?
What follows is a really cute, light hearted story about two people realizing that what started out as pretend doesn't have to remain pretend.
My conclusion is that if the author can do this well with a short story of only about 70 pages, I can't wait to read what she can do in a longer, full length novel.

Will Their Make-Believe Become More?
This is a really fun novella! It involves the world of online dating but not "intentionally"! Mary Beth is on the high school reunion committe and having been recently dumped by her boyfriend, reluctantly agrees to check into online dating for a date to said reunion. Christian quits his job as an engineer and wants to starts his own camping gear company but his sister secretly sets up online dating profile for him and he's not happy about it! When he and Mary Beth meet, they decide they can help each other out but may be make-believe will become something more! Fun story and loved the characters!
