Written by an engineer
Don't get me wrong, the book is very interesting and informative, however, the sentence structures and word usage scream "I was written by an engineer!!!" Which isn't bad, but it doesn't make for easy reading. I usually have to read a sentence two or three times to understand what they're trying to get across, even simple sentences.
