Environmentalism Not About the Earth But About Control

This essay reads like a very long comment left on a conservative blog. It's a rant, complete with railing accusations, and worse, unsubstantiated claims. The shame is that the author is close to exposing political truths but doesn't bother backing up many of those truths, leaving the reader to just take his word for it. Perhaps if the writing style was not so much like a rambling polemic that might have been easier to do. As it was, however, I found myself doubting even when I agreed with him.

The greatest tragedy here is that all the rants against progressives and liberals functioned as distracting non-sequiturs instead of supporting the premise of the essay. Perhaps a rewrite is in order.

Even as short as it was it was a waste of reading time.

Wow, I have rarely read an opinion piece so poorly argued and illogical. Couldn't finish it.
