Ernest Hart's simple life is about to get complicated. He wants nothing more than for Lois, the love of his life, to take a stroll and enjoy an RC-cola with him in the peaceful little town of Pulverdale, Alabama. When Arben Barrett, the town's crotchety but wealthy old bachelor dies, the reading of his Last Will and Testament is the beginning of a chaotic and comedic quest by his greedy, grasping relatives.
