Seminoles pitcher Ellie Beaufort has just helped her team win the Women's College World Series. Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, is tired of hearing Ellie's name on the lips of every mortal and wants her dead. To save her, Cupid hides Ellie in his castle.

When Cupid's twin brothers, Phobos and Deimos, the gods of fear and panic, discover Cupid's secret and threaten to tell their mother (Aphrodite), Cupid has no choice but to shoot them with his arrows. Phobos and Deimos fall in love with the mortal and do everything in their power to protect her . . . and to seduce her.  Ellie is captivated by the brothers and finds herself falling for them both.

Cupid and his brothers soon discover that Ellie was sent by the Fates to mark the beginning of the "reckoning" for the Olympian gods.

Sweet And Charming!!!!!!

This was an incredibly sweet story. It is well written and the characters were beautifully developed. I loved how the Greek Gods are used throughout the story. It is a story that has beautiful and vivid descriptions. These descriptions are easily able to be pictured. The chemistry can be felt throughout the story between Ellie, Phobos, and Deimos. It is definitely worth reading and doesn’t disappoint.

If you love Greek gods you will love this book

This book was amazing. It started off a little bit slow but got going really quick. I loved Ellie she was really brought to life in this book. It was great to see a love story between her, Fear, and Panic. The spin that explains the more in-depth role of those two gods was really interesting and added a lot of depth to the characters. Thankfully it didn’t fully end in a cliffhanger. Definitely can’t wait to read the next one. I’m super excited to see how working at the horse farm with no powers works out for the gods.

A slightly more mature side to Eva Pohler

This book is an entry to a series! It’s all about story building. It’s a bit mature in places so beware if you expect it to be like her Gatekeepers Sons series( Love that one too!!) it’s slightly more mature! It took me a couple chapters to really get into it but the adventure started and now I’m looking forward to book 2!!
