Publisher Description
Escape Route
An ironic comedy in which an affluent New York book publisher and her chauffeur companion are stranded overnight in an isolated
farmhouse with a French Canadian widow, her schoolteacher son and
adolescent grandson. A contest of wills over the grandson's future ensues between his grandmother, his uncle, the visiting couple, and the boy's high school English teacher, with individual hopes and fears creating unpredictable results for all concerned.
Interior Landscape
A drama about the friendship and interdependencies of three older women, friends for over forty years, who are brought together by
the onset of Alzheimer's in one of them. The hopes and dreams of their youth are now submerged in sometimes petty jealousies but their need for each other forges a bond stronger than what they had in their youth. It is a drama about loyalty, regrets and women's attachments to each other, and the exclusion of husbands and sons from the professional demands of their women.
