Esoteric Bestiary

A Journey Where Nature Meets the Ancient Wisdom of the Tarot

What happens when the 78 archetypes of the Tarot are mirrored by the animal kingdom? The Esoteric Bestiary is not a traditional divination manual, nor a simple treatise on zoology. It is a profound visual and spiritual exploration where science and symbol become one.

Illustrated in the elegant and precise style of 18th-century naturalists like Buffon and Audubon, this artbook presents 78 original plates. Each creature has been meticulously chosen not for decoration, but for necessity. Their biological behavior, survival strategies, and unique characteristics perfectly echo the esoteric meanings of the cards they represent.

Discover the Tarot through the lens of the natural world. The Major Arcana features 22 creatures of profound metamorphosis, embodying the great cycles of the soul, from the dissolving chrysalis of The Hanged Man to the stellar navigation of the Sacred Scarab. The Suit of Swords is represented by birds, masters of the air embodying intellect, clarity, and conflict. The Suit of Cups dwells in the deep with aquatic creatures exploring emotion and intuition. The Suit of Wands showcases ancient reptiles symbolizing raw energy, ambition, and willpower. Finally, the Suit of Pentacles features terrestrial mammals reflecting material wealth, patience, and legacy.

Written and illustrated by KARMEN-ITA, this book is a map of the human experience reflected in the eyes of nature. It is an invitation to look at the world—and yourself—differently.
