It's worth the 5.
At first I was going to give this book 4 stars because it was harder for me to get through than others. But then, I realized, this book is actually a fantastic book that presents a thought that we all need to entertain. Being fully there in the moment. He talks a lot about eliminating that may distract from your main goal. Focus on the things that will help you accomplish the what you set out to do. Take time to evaluate the process, and eliminate whatever you can so that you can focus more energy on the goal and accomplish the goal faster. I really think this would be a great book for people in the manager positions. Especially the fact that it is a summary, they can read it quickly and start putting things into action. This would help them get a good idea on how to successfully run their team. Even as a stay at home mom, I took away many ideas on how I an eliminate distractions and create a productive routine. I definitely like this book, and I do truly feel it deserves 5 stars.
It's cool.
Essentialism is one of those life changing books. Highly recommended. Absolutely loved it! I have read both the original and this summary guide. I got more out of the summary guide. Great breakdown on key people as well as an analysis of key concepts. The guide covers all the important information, removing all the fluff and extra. If you are interested in Essentialism grab this book. Highly recommended!
