Estate Heist

As indicated by the title of my book, Estate Heist, my wife's brother Albert Kompare had most of his estate assess stolen by his two nephews. Much of the fault can be divided up between Albert and the two boys and the craftiness of their various attorneys that got their hands around his assess also. Throughout the story you will sense the height of suspicious gander that existed and the deceitful path people will take for money. We found out that in short order that when the Nephews were faced with a large sum of money and real estate properties they couldn't turn off their greed switch. When they had the keys to the cash in the estate they became more blatant in their demands and if their attorney didn't see it that way, they got fired! When their path became so self possessed and they started to fill up their bag with all the estates money, only then did they start to stumble and make mistakes. They were racing toward the finish-line with only one objective in mind; too pack as much money as possible into their pockets and briefcases. Then turn around and tell all the other beneficiaries what a good job they were doing!
This story is definitely about what an individual should do and not do as they approach their end of one’s life. With today’s technologies and access to the internet this heist should have never happened because all the tools are available to safeguard actions like we just went through. Remember, it doesn't hurt to throw in a spoon-full of trust in the mix along the way.

I can only hope the reader will not walk in the same shoes that Shirley and I had to walk in because in the final analysis there are no winners, except the attorneys.
