Book 1: Fall Into Darkness
Hunter angel Eli lives by his own rules and bows to no one. But when a powerful council deems the angel has lost his humanity, he's sentenced to earth with one mission--learn compassion or be condemned to Hell.
Ashley has always been different. With one glance into a person's eyes, she foresees their death--so she tries not to look. She even moves to the wilds of Alaska to get away from civilization, which works just fine until a handsome stranger rescues her from a surprise attack.
Book 2: Veiled In Darkness
When Eli spots Ashley across a bloody battlefield, he can only steal a moment alone with her. Powerless is an emotion new to the hunter, but it’s one he faces daily when he realizes killing the demon king in order to free his mate is out of the question.
‘Death’ was not a nickname Ashley wished to carry. Being the only one able to stop Lucifer’s evil plan was an even worse fate. When she discovers her true ancestry, fear that she will succumb to her darker side forces her to dig deep for the strength she needs to fight.
Book 3: Bound By Darkness
He mated to protect her. She used him for revenge. As their worlds collide, their feelings for each other grow. But, when his dark secret is revealed, it may be more than she can forgive.
Lyzander has done many distasteful things in his life. One in particular has haunted him for the past twenty years. Now, the little girl he sheltered from the ones who killed her family has become his savior. When she seeks to avenge the murder of her loved ones, he finds himself saving her all over again.
Kelana has an agenda, and if mating with the angel warrior Lyzander will bring her closer to completing her mission, then she will gladly take him to her bed. When her father discovers the abomination he created is still alive, he proves more powerful than she imagined and it will take everything at her disposal to survive.
Insta-lust and eternal love - Hot, hot, hot!
The Eternally Mated Boxed Set by Valerie Twombly is a three-book bonanza of supernatural love stories, told against the backdrop of the eternal war between good and evil. Each book is a stand-alone sexy romance in which an angel meets his fated bride, his eternal mate pre-ordained for him by the Maker herself. Each book also features the latest developments in the war for supremacy on Earth - will Heaven or Hell prevail? In book one, Fall Into Darkness, war-weary angel Eli is disciplined by the Maker, confined to Earth until he re-learns compassion for the humans he protects. He meets Ashley, child of an angel with human and demon blood as well. Their mating transforms her into the Angel of Death, giving the good guys one heck of a weapon in the war - if they can train her fast enough. In book two, Veiled in Darkness, Eli and Ashley face e the challenge of teaching Ashley her new role as a ruler in Hell without having her succumb to her demon heritage and actually becoming evil and ruining their mating. Finally, Bound by Darkness tells the story of half-demon Kelana, who has always lived in Hell and is unaware of her hidden angel half until her rogue angel father attempts to kill her. Warrior Angel Lyzander becomes her protector, and is fated to be her mate - if they can keep it together, and trust each other. And, of course, there's an evil angel they need to take out... Twombly's complex paranormal world is populated by a fascinating cast of demons - some of whom are good guys - and angels - some of whom are bad guys. Each angel has his/her own backstory, which contributes to both character growth and plot. Their special powers are fascinating, and the strategic deployment of the newly empowered mated pairs makes for interesting twists and turns in the overarching story. The writing flows well, the plot marches relentlessly through skirmishes and skullduggery, the characters are intriguing, moving, and passionate in both love and enmity, and the romance is way hot and heavenly too.
