Long before kavanah became a familiar Hebrew word for intention, Scripture was calling God’s people to live with hearts deliberately aimed toward Him.

Every Heart Drifts explores the biblical roots of kavanah through the Shema and Deuteronomy 6. The Shema sets the target. Kavanah gives the aim.

Because drift is not something that happens once. It happens in the ordinary movement of every day. Again and again, God invites us to return—to listen, to love Him with our whole heart, and to intentionally aim our lives toward Him.
