Raised by wolves, were-hyena Whisper Callahan has spent the better part of her life struggling to fit into a world where she’s the odd one out. Her adopted family loves her, of that she has no doubt, but now they’re encouraging her to connect with her own kind. At an annual gathering of unmated were-hyenas in Pennsylvania, Whisper finds herself torn between the past she never knew and the family who raised her as their own.
Were-hyenas Nyte, Azrael, and Fade don’t expect much to come from the gathering except a few days off from work at Stone’s Gym in Dalton, Kentucky. They don’t expect to follow the sound of tears and find their mate crying in the woods. And they certainly don’t expect to find themselves trying to protect her from her own family while she comes to terms with all that she learns about herself and her past. But hyenas are nothing if not protective of their mates, and they’re willing to do whatever it takes to keep her safe. And keep her forever.
It wouldn’t be a Hyena Heat novel without plenty of hot m/f/m/m loving, three males that would do anything for their mate, and a female that is in need of love. Expect plenty of possessive behavior and excessive use of the word ‘mine’.

I love this series I know u will love all of the characters and the continuing plot I recommend to all the shifter readers that shifter books of any kind you will enjoy this but a warning you will get hooked on all of her books if u are a shifter fan. It a great curl up in your favorite place with a blanket or the sun on your face while u read kind of book I really enjoyed it I hope u will too
I don’t care about bliss. Literally I read 2 chapters about bliss for no reason, since the book isn’t about her story. Adding bliss’s story was a waste of time and did nothing for whispers journey. I don’t care about how whisper has 2 names, 3 mates, 3 dads, 3 brothers or 4 families. Personally this book was all over the place! The book kept adding more crud and “plot twists” every chapter instead of fixing one problem! The book was too complex for the summary, the girl found her mates. The summary makes it seem the reader will mostly read whispers journey of finding her mates. However, whisper finds her mates within 150 pages! Way too long for the summary!
A little disappointed
I'm only one person so don't take my review to heart. I think the first hyena book kept my attention. The last two I jumped through pages and didn't read all.
