For these two, love never died.
Harry and Molly dated and fell in love in college. This was back when Harry’s dad was still a mess over their mothers death, especially on the day of her death. His siblings, Suzanne and Drake were in High School and need some supervision. Alec was there to help until the bar called him some nights to close the place down. School, two siblings to raise, a brother half there and a father just a physical shell. How could a relationship grow?
Fifteen years later a knock on Harry’s door. Fourteen year old Amelia asking: Are you my father? Once again the whole Sullivan clan jumps in. Harry easily admits he has never found anyone else and still loves Molly. Molly also never clicked with anyone else but saying out loud she still loved Harry - that’s crazy.
Fortunately the author does not dwell on the past. They both admit their life was not as they projected back then. But the love was real, true, and still there shining out in an instagram photo.
This completes the New York Sullivan’s. Four children happily married or engaged, a wonderful granddaughter and a father who finally has found sure footing again.
Next up - the Maine Sullivan’s. Good thing the author has a map on her website to keep the San Francisco, Seattle and now New York Sullivan’s straight.
A wonderful turn of events
I received this ARC for an honest review. Harry Sullivan was always the care giver of the family after his mom's death. He did his best to help raise Suzanne and Drake. Harry kept his father from killing himself with alcohol. He placed them first over his first and only love Molly. They met in college and they both love history. Harry kept putting Molly last because of his family, because of this Harry broke up with Molly. Well...fifteen years later Harry received a surprise. What surprise??? .You must read the book. It is a wonderful story of forgiveness, growing, love, & family. Can't wait for the next Sullivan book!

I want to highly recommend this story. I have to say I absolutely loved this story. I absolutely loved how to lost souls came together over a daughter who was looking for her father plus how a family who was lost a mother and wife came together to heal due to a daughter looking for her father. It will show you ever human emotion.
