Everybody Is Orange

Some stories begin with a seed. Others begin with a strange little thing the earth refuses to explain.

There are old tales buried beneath familiar soil, names that appear where nobody planted them, and a certain orange that seems to know more than it lets on. As autumn settles in, the ordinary grows peculiar, the peculiar grows teeth, and the smallest details begin to carry the oldest secrets.

Everybody has a story about how the world became what it is. This one might have started in a pumpkin patch.
