Evicted on Purpose

Evicted on Purpose is not a story about losing a home.

It is a story about what happens when life removes the structures you were never meant to lean on — and asks you to listen instead.

Written during a prolonged season of displacement, this memoir traces a journey through collapse, uncertainty, and the quiet spaces no one prepares us for. Rather than rushing toward resolution, Jillian Stidd explores liminality — the in-between seasons where certainty dissolves and something truer begins to form.

This is not a book about manifestation, hustle, or fixing yourself.

It is about learning to read the ingredients already present in your life — the patterns, the pauses, the losses — and discovering they were never random.

Evicted on Purpose is a memoir of trust, attention, and sacred interruption — written for anyone who has been undone by life and suspects it might not be a mistake.
