Grey is dreary dark." Alda praises a medley of other colors "Yellow's awesome on a face. It's tempting on the street," she writes next to photos of a sidewalk chalk drawing and ice cream truck before delivering a twist ending, with a good reason to like the color after all (a pet rabbit). Alda's playfully pensive tone and lively urban scenes are reminiscent of the golden age of Sesame Street. Ages 2 5.
