I’m not sure what captivates me more—Jane’s incredible ability to bring the Australian bush to life and draw readers deep into the outback, or the rich tapestry of friendships, families, and community she weaves throughout the story. You know you’re in for a fantastic journey every time you pick up one of her books.
I can’t wait to see this story brought to the screen! And as always, Falk never disappoints. I’m especially glad to see him finally choosing to focus on himself for a change. Another outstanding read!
Slow but satisfying
There are a lot of long drawn out scenes that have no resolution and don’t seem to lead anywhere. But overall it’s a good story with a satisfying ending.
