Good Local Color, Improbable Plot
Very nicely done description of Northern New Mexico and Santa Fe, with accurate place names and realistic events in the logical locations. As a travel guide this novel succeeds better than it does as a mystery. The plot is unrealistic and contrived to create some suspense and the core of the novel, an aircraft crash and its aftermath is so improbable as to be silly.
