This book sets out the facts and looks at how human trafficking can be woven into the story of cities and countries winning and managing Sporting Mega Events (SMEs) contracts today.

Human trafficking has an effect on the health of millions of children, men and women who are involved in illegal activity, are abused in pornography and sex labor, and are exploited in a number of work settings. The book describes the areas where elite sports and SMEs are most vulnerable to human trafficking, as well as how this has been handled so far, with a special emphasis on the London 2012 preparations.
