Exploring Creation with Physics

Exploring Creation with Physics, 2nd Edition is a college-prep course designed for the student who has completed algebra 1 and geometry and has had an introduction to trigonometry, including the concepts of sine, cosine, and tangent. This course provides students with a strong background in units, measurements, one- and two-dimensional motion, Newton’s laws and their application, gravity, work and energy, momentum, periodic motion, waves, optics, electrostatics, electrodynamics, electrical circuits, and magnetism. Experiments for this course include measuring average velocity and acceleration, determining factors that affect air resistance, estimating the work done by friction, making and using an electroscope, and creating a parallel-plate capacitor and storing charge. This course uses household items for all labs!
