Description de l’éditeur

The Eigenharp is a new musical instrument intended to be used in performance. One goal is to place the electronic musician 'front-of-stage' in the same way as a guitar player. The other is to break new ground in expressiveness the ability to interact with electronic instruments.

This book is for anyone who wants to know more about how the Eigenharp achieves those goals. It would be helpful for anyone considering purchasing an Eigenharp. People owning an Eigenharp will find the material familiar.

The author, Mike Milton was an early owner of an Eigenharp Alpha

Great overview from a real player

Mike adopted the Eigenharp immediately when the instrument first came out two years ago. He followed its evolution closely as a musician. The new Workbench tool of EigenD 2 provides unprecedented visual access to the Eigenharp's configuration. This book gives a great overview of what's possible and how the inner workings of the Eigenharp and its software EigenD can be useful for making music.
