Exploring the Legislative Branch

Inaccurate description of Republican values.

The book states “Republicans want a smaller federal government with fewer rules and regulations.” That is completely untrue. Republicans are pro-law, pro-law enforcement, and pro-civil rights. What Republicans don’t want is laws that violate their Constitutional rights. They are willing to spend America tax dollars to help American citizens. The book also states “Democrats believe the govt should control the power of business, and spend money to help citizens in need.” Controlling the power of businesses is a communist strategy, therefore Democrats support communism. They also spend a lot of Tax dollars helping other countries, not their own country, and a lot of tax dollars on supporting the minor population, not the general population.
