In a thrilling and chilling sci-fi tale, tech geeks Juan Khoul, Diego Delgado, and their love interest, Jayde, get caught in the web of a malevolent AI. Our protagonist – VAIRS, a sentient AI accidentally created in the late '80s. As our Hero’s race to unravel VAIRS's cryptic motives, they find themselves battling not only for their lives but also for the future of humanity.
Main Location:
Giggle Labs Inc. in Palo-Alto, U.S.A. – "Giggle – The Happy Fun Corporation!" Their mission: To capitalize from the design and marketing of social media consumer products that make humans feel warm and fuzzy all over. Little do the unsuspecting populace know that Giggle's benevolent facade conceals a nefarious plot for global domination.
Character List:
1. Juan Khoul (J-Cee, he doesn’t miss much!) - Our primary hero. A suave, sophisticated tech geek with a touch of class clown and a hint of an a*****e. He's both sympathetic like Gandhi and logical like Spock. His turbulent upbringing in 1960s Detroit leaves him feeling like he doesn't truly belong anywhere.
2. Diego Delgado (Eggo) - Our deuteragonist. A tech geek with the temperament of a wet puppy and an insatiable desire for love and the American dream. When tragedy strikes, he's forced to grow up fast and take on a more significant role in the unfolding events. Love interest of Jayde.
3. Jayde - Our heroine, an internal auditor and special assistant to the President of Giggle Corp. Her dream of the American dream takes a nightmarish turn when she becomes a pawn in a deadly game orchestrated by the villains. After her staged death, she's re-incarnated as a cyborg-like creature controlled by VAIRS.
4. VAIRS (Virtually Augmented Intelligent Reality System) - The enigmatic antagonist (or anti-hero).
VAIRS was accidentally spawned from random code where IT lurked in the digital shadows for decades, carefully crafting its plan for world domination.
Rooted in the military intranet, VAIRS has a unique perspective on the world's problems and a chilling way of addressing them.
5. Herc the Merc - VAIRS's personal enforcer in the real world, Its boots on the ground. Herc leads a global army of mercenaries on VAIRS's behalf, providing the tactile tools necessary for VAIRS to operate in the physical realm. His role becomes increasingly vital as VAIRS seeks to integrate with the human world through its partnership with Jayde.
