Ezzy Goes Snorkeling

Ezzy Goes Snorkeling is a beautifully illustrated, intelligently written book about the underwater world encountered by snorkelers. The book has nice asides identifying fish, corals and other under water life. A young persons' snorkeling experience will be greatly enhanced by reading this book before diving in!

A friend sent me this. She knows I like artfully-crafted children's books. It's a great introduction to snorkeling for children and is very charmingly drawn and amusingly written. The casual artwork really evokes a day at the beach, and the interaction among the adults and child has just the right tone, believable, not forced. There is also a lot of actual scientific information given in an easy to swallow form. So, it's perfect for a girl or boy who wants to explore the ocean.
