F*****g Another Man When Your Husband’s Around

Excerpt: “Got them,” her husband said and Helen almost dropped the popcorn and coke at the sudden sound of his voice in her ear. She looked at him and smiled, convinced that he would be able to see the guilt written all over her face. He just smiled back though and Helen stood so that they could make their way to the theatre. As they sat in the darkness she looked around, trying to make it appear casual while she scanned the faces of the nearby people. There was no sign of Nicholas though and Helen relaxed a little, hoping that he had gone to watch something else. As the movie got underway, she sank back into her seat and let the action wash over her. Around 20 minutes in though she suddenly realized that she had to go to the bathroom. She leaned across to her husband to tell him and he shook his head and smiled. It wasn’t exactly unlike her and he watched as she stood, but then turned his attention back to the movie. Helen made her way out of the theatre and walked along to a quiet bathroom at the end of a hallway. She stepped inside, went into a cubicle and a couple of minutes later came back out and moved across to the sink to wash her hands. As Helen stood looking at herself in the mirror, she heard the door of the bathroom open. She glanced in the mirror to see who had entered and her eyes opened wide as she realized it was Nicholas. She turned to look at him.
