Fairy Wars: The Dark Ones

Imagine you’ve stepped on a fairy and can now see a world previously unknown to you comprised of creatures such as trolls, ogres and brownies.  That’s what happens to the hero of this book, Calen, a young clock repairman who, up to now, has lived a quiet, peaceful existence. Since stepping on the fairy, he’s been charged with helping Fairyland win an age-old war against the “evil” dark ones.  Along the way, Calen finds his personal values challenged and his view of the world skewed as he befriends a bugbear, a dragon – both dark creatures -- and a unicorn.
