Publisher Description

This paper received first place honor in the graduate student division at the 2010 North East Texas Regional Phi Alpha Theta Conference. Throughout the history of the church, men and women have emerged as leaders due to efforts that helped fellow believers and revitalized the church from poor theology. These leaders have caused the church to re-evaluate the way it does ministry, and calls believers back to the truths of the Bible. Some of these leaders are well remembered in history: St. Augustine, John Wycliffe, Martin Luther and John Wesley. Others are lesser known, but their contributions are still very important.
