Publisher Description
Nate Long has always watched over his identical twin brother, Aaron, even when it put him on the wrong side of the law. When Aaron is wounded in a shootout, the brothers are taken to Settler's Fort to recover. As Nate works to make reparations for their past, he marvels at the nursing Aaron receives under the care of a woman with all the reason in the world to resent him.
Laura Hannon knows what it is to start over, and she knows Nate's newfound faith is real. What she can't look past is how far he allowed himself to be led astray by his brother's weaknesses.
As a fledgling trust grows between Nate and Laura, they stumble upon a mysterious cave in the mountains that may not be as uninhabited as it seems. While working together to unravel the secrets surrounding the cave, will the new lives they seek for themselves include love, or does too much stand between them?
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Set in 1867, the third installment of Beller's Hearts in Montana series (Love's Mountain Quest) follows kidnapping survivor Laura Hannon as she tries to move on with her life. In the small town of Settler's Fort, Laura, who began working for the local doctor during her convalescence, is caring for the wounded Aaron Long. Aaron is one of her kidnappers, and Laura accidentally shot him in the leg in the previous installment. Aaron's twin brother, Nate, a former bandit and a newly converted Christian who was against his gang's decision to kidnap Laura, has the peace of knowing God has forgiven him for his sins and is working hard to pay off his debts and care for Aaron. Nate has also been infatuated with Laura since first seeing her. As they spend more time together, his feelings deepen, but Nate thinks Laura deserves better than a former outlaw like him. While stealing away together, Nate and Laura discover a cavern where a wounded Native American man and his granddaughter have sought shelter. Nate and Laura do what they can to help the pair, but after Nate discovers the cave is being used to store stolen goods, all four of their lives may be in danger. While the convoluted plotting makes previous installments necessary reading, fans of the series will love this romantic mountain saga.

Exhilarating
Nate and Laura’s story is one of hope and healing and forgiveness when it feels impossible. I’ve really enjoyed Author Misty M. Baller’s Hearts of Montana series, and this one has affirmed that sentiment. I appreciate the way that the story flows so naturally.
Faith’s Mountain Home is an easy-to-read book that had me engaged and eager to keep turning pages until the end. It was very easy to get lost in the writing and, more often than not, I found myself forgetting everything around me and losing all sense of time as I explored this lively tale!
Ms. Beller did a phenomenal job with this novel, and the feelings I got from it will stay with me for a long time to come. Great work!
Redeeming love
I love the thread of redemption that flows throughout this story.
Nate is making amends for past decisions, Aaron must deal with the pain of his wounds both physical and spiritual, and Laura is caught between the past and the future.
Their lives are intertwined by the consequences of one action.
This book is full of well written characters unique in their personalities and motives. The secondary characters are realistic and rounded out the story.
Each person wrestles with their own demons as they grow individually and in relationship with each other, and we find that redemption is more than just a word. Excellent book.
I was given a copy of this book courtesy of Bethany House a division of Baker Publishing Group through NetGalley. This is my honest assessment of this book.
Nate and Laura!
Faith’s Mountain Home was a fast read like all Misty Beller’s books...and the story jumps right in..so of course I loved it! From the very beginning you fall for all the characters. You can read this book alone but it does have characters from the previews books, which I loved reading about their lives now. This book brings you right into the story and I know you will love it as much as I did!! It’s a clean romance with action and adventure.
Laura and Nate know each other from previous books when she was kidnapped by a gang Nate and his brother Aaron were apart of...he’s working to repay their debts. Aaron was shot in the leg by accident so he can not help him and he’s in the clinic where Laura happens to work.
While Aaron works on his recovery..Laura and Nate help an old Indian and his granddaughter. They got separated from their tribe and are living in a cave. Caring for these two brings Laura and Nate closer together and
they realize how much they care for each other. They all have a difficult past to over come but with God’s love and guidance they can make it!
